Steve Marshall Launches Farmers for Steve Marshall Coalition In Addition to Alabama FarmPAC Endorsement

Montgomery, Alabama — Following the endorsement from the Alabama Farmers Federation’s FarmPAC last week, Attorney General Steve Marshall’s U.S. Senate has launched, “Farmers for Marshall,” a statewide coalition made up of agriculture leaders from 55 counties and some of Alabama’s most respected voices in the ag industry. “Steve Marshall has worked tirelessly to earn the respect and trust of Alabama’s farmers,” said Alabama Farmers Federation President Jimmy Parnell. “He understands our challenges and shares our values. We’re proud to endorse him because we know he’ll be a strong voice for Alabama’s farmers in the United States Senate.”

“Steve Marshall knows that Alabama farms feed our state, our nation and the world.  He understands our challenges and has been a tireless advocate for us, especially when the Biden administration made life harder for farmers through reckless regulations, rising costs, and federal overreach on property rights.  This is a critical time for Alabama’s agriculture industries, and I look forward to working with Steve to advance policies that help our farms grow and prosper,” said Doug Roberts of Baldwin County.

“I am proud to support Steve Marshall for the U.S. Senate because I know Steve will fight for Alabama’s farmers in Washington! He is dedicated, will get the job done, and be the agriculture champion we need,” said Chad Smith of St. Clair County.

“I’m honored to have the support of the Alabama Farmers Federation and so many hardworking farmers across Alabama,” said Steve Marshall.  “Our farms are the lifeblood of this state and our nation—they feed our families, fuel our economy and represent the best of who we are. In the Senate, I’ll be a strong voice for Alabama farmers and fight every day to protect their way of life. This coalition is just beginning—I plan to expand it to include all 67 counties and continue working with Alfa to ensure farmers’ concerns stay front and center.”
